Ten years ago we planted a small tree
With the promise of watering it with love
You stayed, I went to the United States.
Only your letters kept my hope
And the tree that was left behind your house
I imagined I already had its tall branches.
Today that came to make your nest
The tree as it grew
And on a swing, two children play
You already married god, God.
When I knew it, I felt like pulling it out
But in my life I have never been vengeful
I do not blame you, much less curse you.
What guilt these kids have
That his mother did not wait for me
That they enjoy the little tree
I return with my pain.
Only among all we can make this a better place :)
